I am a South Dakota farm girl. I strongly believe the wheel does not need to be
reinvented. Women need to unite and share with each other, to empower and
encourage each other to a new level of comfortability in the outdoors. Women want
a safe and secure environment. A close knit group of kindred spirits to share our
experiences with. We want knowledge to excel at the task at hand. Team huntress
was formed as an avenue to direct and empower women on their path to outdoor
success. An outdoor learning environment venue to learn to share the fun, excitement,
enjoyment and bonding that can only happen in the outdoors. I want to promote and
preserve this passion for future generations. I am not a pro hunter, consultant or
celebrity in the industry. I am a daughter, sister, mother, friend, and neighbor. I am a
person who knows we need to uphold and protect our time honored traditions.

Weaned in the outdoors, Dave’s parents took him along on many hunts. He had not
celebrated his 1st Birthday when his mother tagged the biggest buck harvested from
Spink County a 10 by 10 in the fall of 1967. Before he entered Kindergarten, his father
would recommend Dave as hunting guide and outdoor companion for those seeking
to hunt his land. It is no surprise to find him as proprietor of Pheasant Phun Inc. An
outfitter which showcases the same land he roamed as a youth. Dave is a South
Dakota Hunt Safe Instructor, outfitter, certified concealed carry, competition hunter and
President of Pheasant Phun Inc. He enjoys wide variety of outdoor activities. Kindled at
a tender age, his passion for the outdoors still burns brightly today
